He does it because he loves doing so. I've been a member of his discord for a few months and he even prevented me from giving up on Untangle. Had a wireguard issue, found the answer on his youtube channel, and then wanted to troubleshoot some throughput concerns I had. I e-mailed him from his contact page on Youtube and he pointed me to his discord. Joined his discord, he gave me access to his box to do site-to-site iperf3 testing with which I gathered enough data to open up a support ticket with Untangle. He literally gave me free reign on one of his boxes to do as much wireguard testing as I wanted to. There was no request to exchange any information or request for money.

Never once was asked for money, a donation, or asked to do anything unscrupulous. Jason does this because he loves it, and has helped me personally on two different projects after I sorted through my wireguard stuff.

He does not charge and is honestly trying to help out of the goodness of his own heart. And there are several of us on the discord that are all also willing to brainstorm on ideas. It's just easier to do it there. He's fostered a community of like-minded interested individuals that want to help each other.

What is the matter with you? Do you see a business consulting tagline anywhere? Has he ever mentioned charging for support here, on YouTube, Discord or anywhere else? Some people are just kind and enjoy helping others. I feel sorry for you that you doubt that kind of person could exist.

All right, friends, that's enough of that. You're welcome to take this discussion elsewhere if it remains unresolved, but this isn't the place.
